Cufos Pirouette Cacahuète

A Registered Charity run by volunteers, CUFOS is a Community Centre in the former Alexandra Palace Railway Station. It is used by local people and organisations for classes, meetings and many other leisure activities.

Activities include a fun French club for children 2 years and up. The sessions are entertaining and organized, with an emphasis on oral work. In order to encourage the child participate, there are various activities such as games, songs, stories, rhymes, and role playing, all of which cater for a relatively short attention span. Materials include books, objects, flash cards, and always our friendly hand puppets, who, of course, can only speak French. The lessons develop confidence and social skills and make learning French a positive, enjoyable experiences.
