Avon Chinese School is a community group based in Bristol. The school is focusing on teaching school age children Chinese language (Mandarin), Chinese culture and history.
Avon Chinese School was founded on September 1996 by a group of Chinese parents in Bristol (UK) to teach their children Chinese language. Since then, the school is developed gradually with the great efforts of many volunteer teachers, head teachers, school committee members, parents and children. The local council had supported the school at its early time. The school has been relocated several times, it is now based on the Bradley Stoke Community School premises.We are working closely with this community secondary school to promote Chinese language and culture.
Avon Chinese School currently has 6 classes and about 80+ registered pupils age from 4 to 18 years old.
